Star Parker v. Rand Paul

Two articles: 1) Star Parker discusses the “moral bankruptcy” of the political left, and 2) Rand Paul says we need to recruit morally bankrupt candidates to run as Republicans. I had hope for Rand Paul, but it’s fading. He’s not as smart as he thinks he is, a characteristic that is, obviously, the most common one among people in politics.

Republicans Must Offer Alternative to Democrat Moral Bankruptcy

By Star Parker

God-fearing, family and church centered American values created the American prosperity that opened the door to entitlement programs.

Now Democrats brand those traditional American values as cruel and “on your own.”

If you think debt, government dependence, broken families, and moral relativism is the path to a strong and prosperous America, sign on with the Democrats.

But Republicans need to do a better job embracing and articulating the alternative.

Republicans need to step up to the plate and start talking about our nation’s real crisis – our moral crisis. The nation’s searching middle class will understand the truth when they hear it.

Rand Paul sees a Libertarian future for the GOP

Rand Paul: “You know, what I’ve been talking to leaders in the national Republican Party about is, there’s certain parts of the country we’ve given up on. The whole west coast and New England. What I keep telling them is, maybe we need some libertarian type Republicans who might be popular in those areas. Maybe a less aggressive, more socially tolerant but still fiscally conservative policy that may be more libertarian. Might do better in California, might do better in Oregon and Washington and New England, and I think if we had that it would be a great strategy. Our problem in the presidential election is we’ve given up 150 electoral votes before we even get started.”

“Socially tolerant” LOL. It’s amazing that in this day and age men like Rand Paul can say such stupid things.
